Indian flavour for latest noodles

Tabla

I guess I’m mixing my culinary metaphors in the post title, but recent noodling has taken a distinctly Asian direction. I must have been inspired by music I listen to during yoga self practice, and I’m particularly drawn to the sounds of the tabla and other Indian percussion instruments.

This is a track I’ve finished for the second album. As yet, both the album and the track are untitled. There’s not a huge amount I can say about it. It’s fairly sparse and the melody is very simple but I really like the way it blends with the overall hypnotic / meditative feel of the piece.

If you feel inclined to help me with a name for this, please go ahead and reply to the post, or drop me a note on Twitter.
