In May we enjoyed a fabulous week of yoga, sunshine and complete relaxation on Italy’s second largest island – all meticulously organised by Sardinia Yoga and led by Katie Courts. I cannot praise Sardinia Yoga highly enough. The organisation, instruction, venue and small group practice was flawless. The hotel was beautifully situated and early morning yoga by the sea under a clear blue sky set everybody up for days filled with swimming, snorkelling and running – or doing nothing at all. Having the choice of chilling by a crystal clear pool, shooting the breeze with like-minded people or exploring the island on our own made for a fabulous holiday.
So, next year we want more! But this time, we’re planning the holiday of a lifetime. We’re going to rent a villa like this one and take a group of eight other yogis along with a teacher to Bali for ten to fourteen days. Some of the Sardinia contingent will be joining us, but if you’re interested in coming along, drop me a note via the contact page on the website. Ideally, you’ll have done some yoga already (and better still if you’re familiar with Ashtanga Primary Series), but that’s not absolutely essential.
As plans for the trip develop, I’ll post here to keep you all in the picture about how it’s shaping up. Once we get there, we’ll share blog posts, tweets, status updates, photos and videos galore!
