In just a few days I had forgotten what the hills around here are like! Drive to airport, 90 minutes waiting to board, 75 minute flight, and another 75 minute drive home meant I was desperate to get out in the trainers.

Bad night’s sleep so my plan to run 8 mile hills was abandoned in favour of a less time-consuming 5k, so I could be back for an 8am breakfast. I did feel tired this morning, but at least got it done - even if “it” was a different it.
