Lunch run 🏃♂️
Rained from start to finish. The photo is from a different day but the route and sky was very similar, though on the day the photo was taken, I stayed dry.
Today I arrived home soaked to the skin but really happy. I was hoping my heart rate would average at 155bpm, so hitting a max of 146 even with some of the short climbs is really encouraging. And an average of 133 is fabulous news.
I do wonder whether I’ve been pushing the pace and distance a little too much over recent weeks, so maybe I did just need to take the foot of the pedal a little.
