First 2024 target hit today: VO2Max - 47 (Yay!). I aim to get this to 52 during the year.
Pretty good running conditions today. Watch said 15 degrees, but it felt a little cooler than that. The moody sky had completely cleared to a wonderful blue by the time I wrote this post.
Cardio-wise, today felt comfortable, though my legs might not agree! The glutes are not firing, so I’m feeling it in almost every other muscle and most notably, the hip flexors. I need to get started with the exercises Gabi showed me - and soon.
I'm a little concerned about right calf injury as, now and again, it seems to stiffen. Needless to say, I’m looking forward to some gentle restorative yoga later today 🧘♂️
