The hill is much steeper than it looks in the photo. Or at least it feels it when I’m climbing it, into the wind.
Another beautiful start to the day. Around 8 degrees, deep blue sky and clean air to fill the lungs. One of those days where it really feels great to be alive. Already looking forward to tomorrow’s return to Passo del Parque.

Bad night’s sleep so my plan to run 8 mile hills was abandoned in favour of a less time-consuming 5k, so I could be back for an 8am breakfast. I did feel tired this morning, but at least got it done - even if “it” was a different it.
A late night airport pickup meant running on less than five hours sleep - and I like my sleep! But it wasn’t as bad as I feared it might be. A warm one though with little breeze. The photo is of one of my favourite trees on this route
