I’ve not been for a run in more than a week. Somehow, London made it tricky this week. I had early meetings and late meetings. If I’d been more organised, I’d have run in the middle of the day, but in all honesty, I was tired all week too.
So it’s lovely to be back, to wake up to those skies and to get out for a 5k which (quite rightly) felt harder than it ought to have.

Bad night’s sleep so my plan to run 8 mile hills was abandoned in favour of a less time-consuming 5k, so I could be back for an 8am breakfast. I did feel tired this morning, but at least got it done - even if “it” was a different it.
