Morning run 🏃‍♂️

Another progression run this morning (and another failed attempt to hit the target pace of 6:38 - 6:58. In fact, today was slower than Sunday’s effort. Greg, my virtual Garmin coach, will not be pleased 🙃 and I’m sure his confidence score has dropped.

I am definitely tired. I feel short of sleep and the stress levels (work) are pretty high just now. That said, my heart rate in the progression section did not really increase much at all (average 144bpm / max 159bpm - which is definitely not threshold pace). This makes me feel that it’s physical strength in my legs which is lacking.

Answer: just keep trying.

PS: the white buildings you can see in the photo are the urbanisation where we live. “Mum, are we nearly home?”
