One of my favourite runs in Gijón - down to the beach and then up to the sculpture affectionately called ‘King Kong’s Toilet’ by the locals, but actually named Elogio del Horizonte.

Bad night’s sleep so my plan to run 8 mile hills was abandoned in favour of a less time-consuming 5k, so I could be back for an 8am breakfast. I did feel tired this morning, but at least got it done - even if “it” was a different it.
