Morning run 🏃‍♂️

Felt yesterday’s run in the legs today and general tiredness. 11 degrees and wet pavements from early morning drizzle. A few runners out and about and some people training on the track by the football stadium. Hoping to feel a little more lively tomorrow but for now, patience. View

Ashtanga Primary up to Trikonasana 🧘‍♂️

Still very little flow in the vinyasas and today it wasn’t easy at all. My mind was wandering and I felt a little cramped for space. But, just like the running, no regrets now I have completed a short practice. I‘m just looking forward to having more zing!

Morning run 🏃‍♂️

One of my favourite runs in Gijón - down to the beach and then up to the sculpture affectionately called ‘King Kong’s Toilet’ by the locals, but actually named Elogio del Horizonte. Felt better than my heart rate would indicate, so mentally fitter at least!

Restorative yoga 🧘‍♂️

Last practice of 2023 - an hour of restorative yoga. Really needed that after the drive to the airport and the flight. Everything was feeling very tight so that did the trick.
